Bob has been an active resident of the Cedar Valley since 1990 involving himself in numerous community groups and joined Community Bank & Trust as a Business Development Officer in November 2017. Prior to joining our team, Bob served for 28 years as the Economic Development & Planning Manager for the City of Cedar Falls, Iowa where he played a major role facilitating local commercial, industrial, retail, and residential development projects. He values the importance of long term business relationships and top notch customer service to our clients. Bob is married with three children, all born and raised in the Cedar Valley and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Mary Pabst
AVP, Commercial Banking Officer
Mary is an experienced banker with over 10 years in the industry. She has knowledge in both the retail and commercial areas of the bank. Through this experience she can fully understand the needs of her clients, allowing her to assist them in the best possible manner. Mary graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in both Financial Management and Real Estate. She has been a Cedar Valley resident for 10 years and joined Community Bank & Trust in November of 2020. She currently resides in Cedar Falls with her husband. Mary is very eager to assist clients, build long term relationships, and help them achieve their financial dreams.

Tina Hummel
Business and Real Estate Banking Officer

Tina Hummel was recently promoted to Business and Real Estate Banking Officer. Ms. Hummel joined the CBT team in May of 2016 as a Retail Branch Manager and has continued to advance her position to Account Executive/Real Estate Lender. As a Business and Real Estate Banking Officer, Ms. Hummel will focus her efforts on small business lending, real estate lending along with attention to the bank’s Community Reinvestment efforts. Ms. Hummel serves on the Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, Waterloo Community Development Board of Directors, Junior Achievement Financial Literacy, 24/7 Blac Committee Member and leads the bank’s efforts for the Waterloo Urban Farmers Market.

Zach Tompkins
Business Specialist, Treasury Management Officer
Zach Tompkins is the Small Business Specialist for Community Bank and Trust. Zach works with our business clients to ensure they have all the products, services and support needed to operate smoothly. He is also the leader of our partnership banking program which brings the bank to employees of our business clients through exclusive offers and financial education seminars. A resident of the Cedar Valley since 2003, Zach graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and is married with one child. He has 10 years of banking experience and joined the CB&T team in October of 2017. Zach is active in the community as a member of the Exchange Club of Waterloo and volunteer for Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.
